The jobs we get plumbers out for, each with a page that tells you what to look for, what to do first, and what it should cost.
24/7 call answering · Licensed and insured plumbers
Most calls here fall into one of two groups. Something is leaking where you can't see it, or something is not draining. The pages below are organized around that, because it's how the problem actually presents itself.
If you aren't sure which one you have, start with the symptom guides. They exist to narrow it down before you spend money, and a couple of them end with you fixing it yourself for nothing.
Every service, and what it's for
- Slab Leak Detection and Repair A line under your foundation is leaking. Finding it accurately is most of the job, and it can be done without tearing up the whole floor.
- Whole House Repipe Replacing the supply lines through the whole house, usually in PEX or copper, usually in two to five days.
- Emergency Plumbing Shut the water off at the main. Then call.
- Water Heater Repair and Replacement Repair is often the right answer for a heater under eight years old. Past twelve, replacement usually wins.
- Tankless Water Heater Conversion Endless hot water and a reclaimed closet, at the price of gas line work, new venting and yearly descaling.
- Drain Cleaning One slow fixture is usually a local clog. Several at once is the main line, and that's a different job.
- Hydro Jetting High pressure water that scours the pipe wall back to full diameter instead of punching a hole through the blockage.
- Sewer Camera Inspection Forty minutes with a camera tells you whether you have a clog, a root intrusion, a belly or a broken pipe. Those need four different repairs.
- Trenchless Sewer Repair and Pipe Lining Rebuilding the pipe from the inside, or pulling a new one through the old route, instead of digging the length of the line.
- Water Pressure and Regulator Repair Pressure problems have about five causes. A gauge on a hose bib narrows it down in two minutes.
